Space Center Houston
Science & HistorySpace Center Houston is the official visitor center of NASA's Johnson Space Center and one of the most visited science destinations in the United States. The Saturn V rocket hall alone is worth the trip — the 363-foot moon rocket laid on its side is breathtaking up close. Guided tram tours take you inside the historic Mission Control room that guided Apollo 11 to the moon, and the astronaut gallery showcases actual spacesuits and capsules flown in orbit. Plan on at least four hours; families with kids can easily fill a full day between the interactive exhibits, IMAX films, and outdoor rocket park. Staying at our Pasadena RV park puts you just 12 miles away — a straight shot down I-45 South with easy parking.
